Degree in Biological Sciences obtained at Federal University of Minas Gerais. Presents experience in the area of molecular markers, pharmacology of neurotransmission, neurochemistry and neural biology. Master in Cell Biologyin the Laboratory of the Biology of Neurotransmission where studied the interference of intravenous and inhalatory anesthetics in the synaptic vesicle cycle at the neuromuscular junction. Ph.D in Physiologya and Pharmacology obtained at the Calcium Lab, UFMG, where studied the molecular mecanisms behind insulin signaling and liver regeneration. He is member of the Brazilian Society for Cell Biology. Principal Investigator at the National Laboratory for Bioscience, CNPEM, Campinas, focusing on Cellular and Molecular neurobiology (2017-2021).
