Gabriel Krug de Oliveira was born in the city of São Paulo (state of SP), Brazil. He obtained his B.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (UPM) in 2020, being awarded the 2021 Crea-SP Professional Training Award for his accomplishment. He has a year and a half of experience in the area of scientific research, processing and characterizing polymers and polymeric nanocomposites at the Graphene and Nanomaterials Research Center (MackGraphe), at UPM. During this period (2018-2020), he worked assisting master's and doctoral students in their respective projects, and there were experiences with foreign researchers. In addition, he carried out an Undergraduate Research Project studying the relationship between the morphology of nanocomposites of polylactic acid (PLA) and graphene and its rheological and electrical properties, in which he received a scholarship from the State of São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). Currently he is a Master's Student in MackGraphe and his research, in which he has a scholarship from the Funding Authority for Studies and Projects (FINEP), is focused on studying and developing drilling nanofluids for the oil extraction process.
