Alisson P. de Almeida is a PhD candidate in Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of São Paulo. His research focuses on the neural bases of social behaviors, with a particular interest in social defensive behavior. He employs tools for neural circuit mapping, techniques for functional manipulation of these circuits, and methods for monitoring neural activity in freely behaving animals.
