Graduated in Economics from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2000), master's degree (2003) and Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the Federal University of Viçosa (2006). He was Adjunct Professor 1 at Universidade Federal Fluminense, in the area of Economic Theory between 2006 and 2009. He currently teaches Public Sector Economics, Brazilian Economy and Macroeconomics 3 in the Economic Sciences course at UFSCar, in Sorocaba, in addition to the Economic Growth and Development Courses and Research Methodology in Economics in the Master in Economics at the same institution. He has experience in Economics, with an emphasis on Economic Theory, working mainly on the following topics: Public Sector Economics, Macroeconomics, Pro-poor Economic Growth and Brazilian Economy. One of the Leaders of the Social Observatory research group, headquartered and certified by UFSCar.
