Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP) - Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (ICMC). Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing and Mathematics (DCM) at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences, and Letters of Ribeirão Preto (FFCLRP) at USP from May to November 2024. She was a Postdoctoral Researcher at InCor with a FAPESP fellowship, working in the area of data mining applied to the medical context within the MIVisBD project, in collaboration with ICMC-USP. She completed a BEPE Postdoctoral internship at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). She also held a technical training fellowship from FAPESP, contributing to the MIVisBD project at ICMC-USP. She holds a PhD in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from ICMC-USP. During her doctoral studies, she participated in the Doctoral Sandwich Program abroad (PDSE) with a CAPES fellowship at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. Her research interests include the following topics: Graph Mining, Visualization, Anomaly Detection, Complex Data, Databases, Image Analysis and Mining, and Machine Learning.
