Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação (Brasil). Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Currently conducting a research internship at the University of Bayreuth, Germany, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of polyaniline films doped with metals for electrochemical applications such as redox flow batteries, electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction (CO#8322;RR), and the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Experience includes X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), including in situ measurements.Holds a Ph.D. in Space Engineering and Technology, with a concentration in Materials Science and Sensors, from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), Brazil. Postdoctoral researcher supported by FAPESP, working on the project In situ and operando characterization techniques on nanostructured carbon material surfaces. Expertise in the synthesis and morphological, physical, and electrochemical characterization of carbon-based materials, as well as in situ Raman spectroscopy and various electrochemical applications.During the Ph.D., completed a research internship at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Spain, focused on the development of carbon electrodes for the electrochemical degradation of organic pollutants in water, soil, and air, and on the electrochemical generation of oxidants for environmental remediation or commercialization. Also worked on the development of 3D-printed electrochemical cells.Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Paraná (UTFPR), completed in 2017. Participated in a one-year international mobility program in Bragança, Portugal, through a dual-degree partnership between UTFPR and the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, earning additional degrees in Environmental Science (Licentiate) and Environmental Technology (Masters). Research activities during this period focused on the development and application of carbon-based electrochemical sensors for water pollutant detection, initiating a long-term engagement in the electrochemistry of carbon materials.
