Birthplace: Brazil

I obtained my Ph.D. in Biology and Food Science (thesis with summa cum laude) at the Institute of Food Science Research (CIAL) in Spain (2013 - 2017), supported by a scholarship from CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel, Brazil) through the Programa de Doutorado Pleno no Exterior. My doctoral work focused on developing innovative methodologies and applying advanced analytical tools for metabolomics evaluation of bioactive compoundsI held postdoctoral positions at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPEL), where I contributed to projects using untargeted and targeted mass spectrometry, and at the University of São Paulo (USP), where I developed lipidomics strategies for analyzing venoms and inflammatory lipids via LC-HRMS. I then worked as a Scientific Specialist in Mass Spectrometry at Rothamsted Research (UK) and later as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Karolinska Institute, focusing on metabolomics for asthma phenotyping. Most recently, I completed a short-term postdoctoral collaboration in Michal Holcapeck Mass Spectrometry Research Group at the University of Pardubice. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
