Architect and Urban Planner graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (FAU/UFRJ 2003), holds a Master's degree in Social Sciences in Development, Agriculture and Society from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (CPDA/UFRRJ 2007) and specialization in Earth Architectures by the CRATerre laboratory (ENSAG/France 2010). He holds a PhD from the University of Grenoble (ENSAG/France) in double degree with the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo (IAU/USP/São Carlos/2014). He was a substitute professor in the Technology area at the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism (IAU/USP 2017-2018), where he subsequently conducted a post-doctoral research (IAU/USP 2019-2023). He was a substitute professor of Project with emphasis on Construction Technology at the Federal University of Latin American Integration - UNILA (2023-2025). He is a member of the Iberoamerican RED PROTERRA and of the TerraBrasil network. Since 2010, he realizes projects and works by the Atelier de Realization Creation of Earth Architecture (ARCATerra). As a researcher, he works mainly with the following themes: earth construction techniques and technologies; popular housing production; pedagogical and experimental building sites; construction cultures and vernacular architectures; rural communities and settlements.
