Ellen Pereira Zambalde is a PhD student in the Electrical Engineering Program of the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp/SP), and she is a member of the Neuroengineering Research Lab (NER Lab). Her research is focus on Neuroengineering, Neuroscience, Biomedical Signal Processing and Muscular Force Control. Ellen did her undergrad in Biomedical Engineering at Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações (Inatel, Santa Rita do Sapucaí/MG, 2015). Her master's degree in Biomedical Engineering was at Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU, Uberlândia/MG, 2018). She did 3 different exchange program: High School in Colorado/USA (Mitchell High School 2008/2009); extracurricular courses in Lisbon/Portugal (Universidade de Lisboa, 2010/2011); and Science without Boarders Program funded by the Brazilian government in Toronto/Canada (Centennial College, 2014/2015). Ellen was a technical drawing tutor at Inatel, and she was also a member of the Inatel Junior Company. In Canada, she was a volunteer and intern at the Intelligent Assistive Technology and Systems Lab of the Toronto University. Ellen was also an intern at Datablink (Santa Rita do Sapucaí/MG, 2015) and worked as a software engineering consultant of the Canadian company Braze Mobility Inc. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
