Camila is a Ph.D. student at the University of São Paulo Brazil, and has a fellowship from The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). She also holds a M.A. in Sociology from the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, founded by a fellowship from The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), as well. She also holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees, both from USP: Social Sciences (2019) and Tourism (2016). Currently, she is member of the research groups "Research Group in Sociology of Education, Culture, and Knowledge" and "Digital Sociology and Artificial Intelligence", both linked to the Brazilian Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). Her main areas of research are Sociology of food and eating; Social media; Social determinants of taste; Cultural distinction; and Digital differentiation strategies.
