Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering (DEQM) at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). His research focuses on nanocomposites based on rare earth elements with polymeric matrices, aiming at multifunctional applications related to the energy transition and the environment. He worked as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Materials Engineering (DEMa) at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) from October 2023 to January 2025. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship funded by FAPESP from April 2019 to October 2023, investigating hybrid nanocomposites based on rare earth elements and microcrystalline cellulose for applications in health, energy, and the environment. He holds a Ph.D. in Non-Metallic Materials from UNESP - Guaratinguetá (2019), a bachelors degree in Materials Engineering from UNESP - Guaratinguetá (2016), a masters degree in Ceramic Materials from UNESP - Guaratinguetá (2015), and a bachelors degree in Biological Physics from UNESP - São José do Rio Preto (2011).
