Birthplace: Brazil

Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Clinical and Toxicological Analysis, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of São Paulo. Research focuses on the discovery and development of new drugs using tools such as molecular docking analysis, virtual screening, homology/comparative modeling, molecular dynamics, organic synthesis and the generation and validation of 2D and 3D QSAR models. Completed postdoctoral at the University of Tübingen (FAPESP: 2019/24112-9) and the University of São Paulo/Instituto Dante Pazzanese de Cardiologia (FAPESP: 2019/06172-4). Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Medicinal Chemistry from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of São Paulo, conducted research project related to the application of strategies for planning bioactive substances based on the receptor's structure to develop inhibitors of Trypanosoma cruzi's Sirtuin 2 protein as candidates for the treatment of Chagas disease. Graduated with a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). In undergraduate studies, conducted a research project aimed at synthesizing new triazoles derived from adenosine and thymidine using Huisgen's 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition, also known as "click chemistry" (FAPES: 2013-2014). In addition have skills in enzymatic kinetic assays, real-time PCR, thermal displacement assays, and cytotoxicity assays, designing in vivo experiments to evaluate the potency and toxicity of compounds against enzymatic targets. Furthermore, have skills in programming languages such as Perl, Python, Jupyter, Numpy, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Pandas, and Shell Script. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
