During my PhD I carried out a research internship abroad in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. I have experience in the field of Nutrition, with an emphasis on Clinical and Experimental Nutrition (animal research) and Phytotherapy, addressing the following topics: obesity, bioactive compounds, lipid metabolism and gut microbiota.
