Taynara Oliveira Silva

PhD. in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (USP/IQSC) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marcos Roberto de Vasconcelos Lanza, with a FAPESP Direct PhD scholarship from the Electrochemical and Environmental Processes Group (GPEA), where she focused her efforts on the development and application of electrocatalyst nanomaterials for the production of hydrogen peroxide for application in advanced oxidative processes (AOPs). She did a sandwich period for her doctorate in the chemical engineering department at the Universidad de Castilla La-Mancha in Spain (2022/2023 - FAPESP as the funding institution) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Manuel Andrés Rodrigo Rodrigo. She began her training at the University of the Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM), graduating in Chemistry. She is currently a post-doctoral student at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) with a FAPESP grant, focusing mainly on research related to the development of activated carbon from biomass for the electrogeneration of hydrogen peroxide for the deactivation of bacteria electrocatalytic materials for reactions involving oxygen.
