I have a bachelor and a teaching degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP). I worked as a researcher with a FAPESP grant at the Laboratory of Environmental and Industrial Mycology, supervised by Prof. Dr. Lara Durães Sette. I did an internship at the Sugarcane Technology Center (CTC), studying the somatic embryogenesis of sugarcane. Currently, I work as Research Assistant II at the same company, but in the line of research focused on bioprospecting and exploring the potential of microorganisms for sugarcane..
