She received her undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira (2012), master's and doctorate degrees in Electrical Engineering (operational research area) from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2015) and (2019), respectively. In addition, he did a PhD internship at Universidad de Castilla la Mancha UCLM (2017-2018) in Spain and a post-doctoral internship by Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo in the period 2019-2011. Has autonomy in developing research in the area of Electric Power Systems, formulating mathematical optimization methods for planning the expansion and operation of the electricity distribution system, and working mainly on the following topics: Expansion planning and operation of distribution systems, distributed power systems, reliability topics, deterministic and stochastic optimization, and convex programming.
