Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Econômico (São Paulo - Estado). Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares (IPEN)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I graduated in Medical Physics from UNESP in Botucatu and completed my Master's and Ph.D. in Applications at the Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research (IPEN), focusing on radiotherapy, radioactive sources, radiochemistry, dosimetry, nuclear activation, and automation. During my Ph.D., I had the opportunity to undertake a sandwich Ph.D. at Washington State University, where I specialized in organic chemistry, photodynamic therapy, and surface chemistry. I was a fellow of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at Polatom in Poland and at Université Laval in Canada, where I received advanced training in handling radioactive material and nanotechnology. I also obtained postdoctoral fellowships from CNEN and FAPESP, dedicating myself to the development of theranostic radioactive nanoparticles and collaborating on innovative nuclear battery projects as a fellow of ANP. Since 2019, I have been teaching in the academic master's program at IPEN and am a Professor-Advisor in the Professional Master's Program in Radiation Technology in Health. I worked as a Research Associate at the Korean Atomic Energy and Research Institute (KAERI), where I significantly contributed to nuclear battery projects, focusing on Monte Carlo Simulation, acquisition and purification of nuclear materials, signal processing, and radiochemistry. Additionally, I was a specialist in nanoparticles and theranostics at the nanotechnology startup Abluo, integrating the CECIL group. Currently, I collaborate on phase 2 of the ANP Nuclear Batteries Project, lead the Dosimetry Laboratory at CETER, and since 2014, I have also been an advisor in the Nuclear Technology Program at USP.
