Technical Diploma in Computer Programming, and Biological Sciences BSc. Degree student at the University of São Paulo. Since 2017, has been developing undergraduate research projects involving several topics in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Some examples are phylogenomic analysis using high-throughput sequencing of Ultraconserved Elements (UCE) data, integration of multi-omics (Illumina and Nanopore sequencing) data to study genome instability in archaeal extremophiles, and implementation of Machine Learning algorithms to identify viral sequences in human genomes. Have interest in applying and developing state-of-the-art computational tools to solve biological problems, especially those regarding evolution and multi-omics data integration. Halobacterium salinarum NRC-1 is an extremophile halophile, and as an archaeon organism has characteristics shared by eukaryotes and bacteria.
