The syntheses of organic phosphates, phosphoramides and carbamate derived from dihydropyranones will be carried out based on the structure of goniothalamin as the lead compound. These derivatives will be evaluated against 9 human cancer cell lines and as inhibitors of phosphatases and chaperones (Hsp90).
The catalytic asymmetric synthesis of (R)-noradrenaline is proposed based on the enantioselective reduction of a protected form of chloroacetylcathecol featuring a chiral oxazaborolidine derived from (R)-diphenylprolinol as the catalyst, followed by ammonolysis and deprotection.
