Bachelor of Science in Physical and Biomolecular Sciences and Master of Science in Biomolecular Physics from the University of São Paulo. I have experience in the areas of cloning and heterologous expression, enzymatic biochemistry, enzymatic hydrolysis and treatment and chemical composition of lignocellulosic biomass. My main interest is in the enzymatic production of value-added products from lignocellulosic material that constitutes agro-industrial waste, such as sugarcane, corncob and coffee grounds.
