Thamires Gil Godoy

I began my undergraduate studies in Surveying and Cartographic Engineering at the Federal University of Viçosa in 2015, later transferring to São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) at the School of Science and Technology (FCT), where I completed my degree in Cartographic and Surveying Engineering (2016-2021). During my studies, I joined the Mathematical Morphology research group, focusing on Remote Sensing, received research scholarships from CNPq and FAPESP, and completed a six-month exchange program at the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2019. I completed my masters degree as a CAPES fellow in the Graduate Program in Cartographic Sciences at FCT/UNESP, conducting research on change detection in urban areas using convolutional neural networks.
