Mário Henrique da Mata Martins

PhD in Social Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), sandwich doctoral internship (PDSE/CAPES) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Master's Degree in Social Psychology from PUC-SP, a Lato-Sensu Specialist Degree in Environmental Management from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Alagoas, Campus Maceió (UFAL). In 2014, I was a substitute professor of the Psychology course at UFAL/Campus Arapiraca, Educational Unit of Palmeira dos Índios, where I taught subjects in General Psychology and supervised internships in Public Policy. I was also professor of Psychology at Universidade Paulista (UNIP) from 2018-2019, where he taught subjects in General Psychology, Social Psychology and Public Policy and professor at Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE) from 2022 to 2023, where I taught subjects and supervised internships in Social Psychology. I held post-doctoral internships in Social Psychology at the University of São Paulo and in Public Administration at the Center for Studies in Public Administration and Government of the Getulio Vargas Foundation. I'm a founding partner and vice-president (Management 2022-2024) of the Brazilian Association of Environmental Psychology and Person-Environment Relations (ABRAPA). I'm currently Assistant Professor (Tenured) 1 at the Department of Psychology at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) with emphasis on Psychology and Public Policy. I have experience #8203;#8203;Social Psychology, Health and Environment, with emphasis on the following themes: health and environment, socio-environmental vulnerability, communication and risk perception, discursive psychology and public policies.
