She holds a master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of São Paulo USP (2021), a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais UFMG (2017) with an exchange degree from the University of Brighton, United Kingdom (2014) and a degree in Mathematics from the University of Franca UNIFRAN (2019). She has worked as a geotechnical engineer at Tetra Tech, providing consultancy for the mining industry on conceptual, basic, executive, adequacy and design review projects for tailings and sterile containment structures, such as dams and drained piles. She was a researcher at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), UFMG and USP, working mainly on the following topics: soil mechanics, experimental laboratory studies, waste reuse in geotechnics, lateritic soils, slope stability, landslide risk areas, occupations on slopes. Her interests are focused on geotechnical engineering in general, but mainly: environmental geotechnics, slope stability, landslide risk areas, nature-based solutions, ecosystem services, interaction between soil and vegetation, soil bioengineering, agroforestry systems.
