I hold a Bachelors and Licentiate degree in History from the Federal University of Rio Grande, with an emphasis on Historical-Cultural Heritage. I earned a Masters degree in History from the State University of Campinas (with a CNPq scholarship) and a Ph.D. from the same institution (with a FAPESP scholarship). My research interests include historiography, theories of history, digital history, digital humanities, history education, and intellectual history. I participated in a study abroad program at the University of Coimbra (with a Santander scholarship) and conducted research at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the 20th Century. I received the national award for the best monograph defended between 2013 and 2016, granted by the Brazilian Society for Theory of History and Historiography. I served as Head of the Digital Repositories and Access Platforms Section at the São Paulo State Public Archive, where I developed the first LLM (Large Language Model) architectures specialized in archival science (2025). I am a member of the History and Political Languages: Reason, Sentiments, and Sensibilities research group, active since 1991. I also collaborate with the Peripheral Historiographies in Global Perspective and Theory of History and Historiography in Brazil research groups. I was a visiting researcher at the Free University of Berlin from 2022 to 2023 and collaborate with the GumeLab (FU Berlin) and the Digital Humanities Center at Unicamp. Additionally, I participate in the ANPUH-SP (National History Association - São Paulo Chapter) working groups on Theory of History and History of International Relations. Currently, I work with the Historical Temporalities: Metaphysics of Historical Time, Regimes of Historicity and Historiography, Natural Historical Time research group, funded by CNPq.
