My philosophical training was held at the Institut Supérieur de Philosophie of the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium. Bachelor's degree 1960-1962; Licence(Master) 1963-1966; Doctorate 1966-1970, with a thesis on Martin Buber, directed by Jacques Taminiaux (1928-2019). I started my academic activities at PUC-São Paulo in 1971 where I stayed until 1973. I joined Unicamp in 1974 and retired as a full professor at that university in 2001. In 2005 I was admitted as a professor-researcher at PUC Campinas at the Faculty of Philosophy and the Graduate Program in Religion Sciences. Between 2001 and 2004 I collaborated as a researcher at the University of Sorocaba, SP(Uniso) and at USC in Baurú- SP. I have published several papers, including articles, books and translations in the areas of Phenomenology, Philosophy of Education and Sciences of Religion. Research focuses on the areas of Phenomenology, Bioethics and Philosophy of Religion. Teaching activities are limited to the areas of History of Philosophy, Philosophical Anthropology and Epistemology of the sciences of religion. In December 2021 I considered closed my institutional academic activities with the shutdown of PUC-Campinas, after a long journey of 50 years. Finally, Plotino's "Mónos pròs mónon".
