At the laboratory, studies and projects are conducted in areas such as digital manufacturing, 3D printing, CNC machining, prosthetics development, assistive devices, and innovative solutions for product design, along with training students in tools like CAD/CAM and digital fabrication. He has experience as a technician at the Laboratory of Testing for Certification of Electromedical Equipment (LabCert-DF, 2017-2018) and as a professor in areas such as robotics, electronics, embedded systems, and electronic product development at various institutions. He stands out in the fields of Biomedical and Mechatronic Engineering, with a focus on electronic and biomedical instrumentation. He specializes in the development of electromechanical equipment, embedded systems, prosthetics, sensors, and peripherals, with proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools. He holds a patent registered under the name of UnB as a result of his doctoral research.Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, with intermediate proficiency in English, he has recent experience in the development of assistive technologies and the application of futurism concepts in product design. He actively participates in research groups and projects focused on assistive technologies, emphasizing the design and development of devices such as prosthetics for individuals with upper or lower limb amputations and equipment for people with spinal cord injuries. He has also contributed to the design of educational products for childrens spaces and the development of a multifunctional open-source CNC tool for university environments. He was an international speaker at the 1st International Congress on "Diseño de Futuros" at Universidad UNICONFACAUCA, where he delivered a lecture and workshop on the new competencies of product designers in technological evolution, highlighting the integration of design, sustainability, and innovation. He coordinates and participates in university extension projects aimed at regional communities, covering activities such as creating childrens books and artifacts and establishing international partnerships that integrate product design and engineering.
