Milena Carolina de Almeida

Ph.D. student in the Graduate Program in Communication at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" UNESP, working within Research Line 3: Management and Policies of Information and Media Communication. Recipient of a FAPESP Doctoral Scholarship with the project "Communication for Public Engagement in Agricultural Living Labs Integrated into the CCD-SB100 Platform." Holds a Masters degree from the Graduate Program in Communication at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" UNESP, with the research project "Political Communication, Visibility, and Neopopulism: A Study on Electoral Campaigns in Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico." Also holds an MBA in Strategic Marketing from Centro Universitário Ítalo Brasileiro. Earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" UNESP, with the thesis project "The New Paths of Brazilian Political Communication." Member of the Research Group Media Communication and Social Movements ComMov since April 2017. Received a FAPESP Scientific Initiation Scholarship between 2019 and 2020 with the project "Online Communication Strategies of the Anti-System Political Movement," under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Caroline Kraus Luvizotto. Also held a PIBIC/CNPq Scientific Initiation Scholarship with the project titled "Youth and Political Participation on the Internet," also under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Caroline Kraus Luvizotto. Worked as a professor of the Marketing and Strategic Communication course at Faculdade XV de Agosto FAQ. Currently leads the project "Agronautas," focused on delivering technical knowledge about the agricultural sector to rural communities in the Circuito das Águas Paulista region through radio broadcasting.
