Graduated in History at the Universidade de São Paulo, he is a member of LabMundi (Brazil and the World System Studies Laboratory) and has experience in History, focusing on History of America and slavery. His last research was cald 'The Slave Actions in Landon Carter's and Thomas Thistlewood's diaries', under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rafael de Bivar Marquese. Currently, his research has as its theme the 'Colonial rice in the Portuguese Enlightened Reforms (1750 - 1808)' (it was funded by Fapesp) (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
