Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Química (IQ)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Environmental Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry, University of São Paulo (2019). During his undergraduate research (20182019), he worked with yeast engineered with the fungal bioluminescence metabolism. He completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry at the same institute (20192025), focusing on the characterization of the metabolism of bioluminescent fungi and its application in the development of bioassays and bioluminescent fungal models for cellular bioimaging. He has experience in cloning, expression, and purification of recombinant proteins in bacteria, as well as in the construction of expression systems through synthetic biology in yeast via homologous recombination, including the use of Gibson Assembly and Golden Gate techniques. He is also skilled in structural studies of proteins using bioinformatics tools such as structural modeling, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics. His experience includes organic synthesis, compound purification using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and flash chromatography, and compound characterization through nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and mass spectrometry (MS).
