Jhonatas Sirino Monteiro has a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of São Paulo (USP). He holds a bachelor's degree in Marine Sciences from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). He has experience in computational analysis with RNA-Seq data, such as differential expression analysis, assembly and annotation of transcripts of model and non-model organisms, gene co-expression networks analysis and survival analysis using machine learning algorithms.
