Rebeca Bastos Abibe

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science (FMVZ) at UNESP Botucatu. She participated in the PRAT (Improvement and Training Program) at the Small Animal Surgical Clinic outpatient clinic and completed her residency in Small Animal Surgical Clinic at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science (FMVZ) at UNESP Botucatu, completing it in 2019. Master's degree in Animal Biotechnology with an emphasis on Small Animal Surgery at UNESP Botucatu campus with a FAPESP-funded project entitled "Reconstruction of the round ligament with tendon autograft." PhD from the Animal Biotechnology program at FMVZ UNESP Botucatu with the title "Flexible intramedullary nails for stabilization of transverse fracture in the femur of cats: biomechanical analysis." Actively participates in the daily routine of the department at the Veterinary Hospital of the same institution in clinical surgical cases and surgical procedures.
