I hold a BA (2008), an MA (2011), and a PhD (2015) in History from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). In 2013, I undertook a doctoral research stay at Stanford University (USA). From 2017 to 2018, I served as a faculty member in the Department of History at the State University of Minas Gerais. In 2021, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Federal University of São Paulo, funded by FAPESP (Grant no. 19/19112-0). I am currently a faculty member of the Graduate Program in History at Universidade Salgado de Oliveira, in Niterói, Brazil (https://ppghuniverso.site/). My research focuses on Early Modern History, Contemporary History, and Historiography, with a particular interest in the methodological use of digital technologies in historical research, especially Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and historical GIS, applied both to research and to the teaching of History.
