I am a PhD student in Science and Technology Policy at the Campinas State University (Unicamp) in Brazil, where I have also completed a MSc in Science Communication. My doctoral research focuses on the effects of academic press releases on tradicional and alternative research impact indicators, while also discussing medialization of science, the sourcing of science news and RD social outcome evaluation. Since conducting my MSc research project I have also worked on research about online science communication, politicization of science and misinformation. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
