PhD in Public Health Nutrition, Master in Bioinformatics and Bachelor in Biological Sciences. I work as a bioinformatician and data scientist in the medical field, focusing on cardiometabolic diseases and nutritional genomics. In my PhD, I investigated associations between dyslipidemia and other cardiometabolic risk factors (including common genetic variants SNP and polygenic risk scores) and health costs in the Brazilian SUS (Unified Health System), using machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis. In 2023, I did a 1-year fellowship as a visiting doctorate research at the University of Düsseldorf, Germany. During my master's degree, I also worked on Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) of phenotypes related to physical activity and sport, using linear mixed models among other statistical and computational tools. I also had experience in the area of Regenerative Biology, having worked with direct differentiation and quality control of embryonic stem cells at the Department of Stem Cells and Regenerative Biology - Harvard University.
