Bacharel degree in Biomedicine at the Federal University of Paraná. Master and PhD in Pharmacology at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo. Experienced in the field of Psychopharmacology, with focus on the study of neurobiological mechanisms associated to the effects of classical antidepressants and cannabinoid drugs for the treatent of stress-related psychiatric disorders. Academic history complemented by 1-year exchange at Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands), from 2013 to 2014), and by research internships at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (México) in September 2017 and at the Centre for Developmental Neurobiology of the King's College London from March til September 2022.
