She holds a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2010), a Master's degree in Biological Sciences - Biophysics from the Carlos Chagas Filho Institute of Biophysics of UFRJ (2012), and a PhD from the Carlos Chagas Filho Institute of Biophysics of UFRJ in Biological Sciences - Physiology (2016). She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) (2016-2019) in the laboratory of Dr. David Sacks. She completed a second postdoctoral fellowship at the Ribeirão Preto School of Medicine (USP) with Dr. Dario Zamboni (2020-2023). She was a research fellow at the Institute of Immunobiological Technology (Bio-manguinhos/Fiocruz), working on the project to develop a biobetter antibody for Natalizumab (2023-2025).
