Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). He was a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) (2007-2020). Visiting Professor at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), USA (2016-2017). He holds a PhD in Computer Science (2004) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, a Master's in Computer Science (1999) and a Bachelor's in Computer Science (1995) from UFPR. Visiting Researcher in Japan at Cyber #8203;#8203;Solutions Inc. (2001), DCR (Regional Scientific Development) scholarship holder from CNPq at UFC (2005-2006). He has been a Senior Lecturer at the Special Committee on Cybersecurity (CESeg) of the SBC (Brazilian Computer Society) since 2024. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in recognition of his leadership and technical and professional contributions. Aldri is a faculty member of the Graduate Program in Computer Science (PPGInf) at UFPR. He has developed research focused on network management, network security and resilience, reliable systems, and data protection and dissemination, investigating issues on various types of network organizations, such as in terrestrial and aerial vehicular mobile networks, among others. He is the leader of the NR2 research group (Núcleo de Redes Sem Fios e Redes Avançadas) and a member of the Center for Computational Security Science (CCSC). Aldri has coordinated national and international research projects, participated in program committees of national and international symposia, and acted as a reviewer of journals and funding projects, and in the organization of national and international scientific events in the area of #8203;#8203;computer networks and security. He is an associate editor of the journal IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management (TNSM). He was coordinator of the CESeg of the SBC in the biennium (2014-2016) and vice-coordinator in the biennium (2012-2014). He is a member of the technical committee for information and communication security of the Communication Society (ComSoc) of the IEEE, SBC, IEEE and ACM. Member of the SBC committee for Proposing the Training Reference for the Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity courses. He is a member of the Education Committee and the Competition Committee of CESeg.
