PAULO RICARDO DUTRA RIBEIRO DA SILVA: Graduating in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR) and Master in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Power Systems from UNICAMP. He has a solid knowledge of Power Electronics and Electric Power Systems (SEP) and has been working in the field of photovoltaic solar energy for over two years. At FIT Instituto de Tecnologia, I work as a Senior Engineer, with technical responsibility for electrotechnics and medium-voltage protection in photovoltaic plants. I lead research and development projects, seeking innovative solutions in power electronics to optimize the performance of converters and photovoltaic systems. I started my PhD at UNICAMP in the area of photovoltaic systems, being responsible for the INMETRO-accredited laboratory for the certification of photovoltaic inverters, leading research into performance testing and validation of power converters, participating in the development of an electric arc test bench proposing innovative solutions for fault detection and interruption of DC electric arcs, also participating in the construction of the 515/2023 ordinance on electric arcs developed by INMETRO. During his master's degree at UNICAMP, he developed the hardware and software for a PMU (Phasor Measurement Unit), with a focus on measuring power quality in distribution systems. The research was carried out with support from FAPESP and contributed significantly to knowledge in the area of power systems. During his undergraduate studies, he worked in the Embedded Systems and Power Electronics Group (GSEEP) at UFRR, developing embedded systems projects applied to power electronics. During his studies at UNICAMP, he carried out various research projects in the field of photovoltaics, contributing to the certification of inverters and developing methodologies for detecting electric arcs.
