Graduated in Biological Sciences (Licentiate and Bachelor) from PUC-Campinas (2018). He was a Scientific Initiation student at UNICAMP, from 2016 - 2018. He has experience in the area of Parasitology and Microbiology, with emphasis on the study of cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL), where he gained experience with the following techniques: primary and secondary cell cultures, isolation and culture of Leishmania spp., in vivo and in vitro infection, co-culture in transwell system, common and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), PCR, ELISA, Cytometric Bead Array (CBA), Griess method, MTT, secondary bacterial coinfection, isolation and purification of Outer Membrane Vesicles (OMVs) and Extracellular Vesicles (EVs). During the last seven years, Scientific Initiation and Master's projects were developed based on the mentioned themes. There was also participation in oral presentations at conferences and posters. In his last research project, he investigated the influence of the presence of opportunistic bacteria in macrophages infected with L. amazonensis, using an in vitro co-culture system, in the model of CL.
