Vanessa Helena Pereira Ferrero

Ph.D. from UNICAMP (University of Campinas) in the field of modeling, simulation, and complex networks. Masters and Bachelors degrees in Information Technology, with a focus on Computer Science, from UNICAMP. Completed her first postdoctoral fellowship at UNICAMP, supported by CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel); her second at UNESP (São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho"), supported by FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation); and is currently pursuing her third postdoctoral fellowship at UNICAMP, with institutional support from the PPPD (Postdoctoral Researcher Program) of the DGRH (General Directorate of Human Resources). She has experience in programming languages, databases, operations research, complex networks, machine learning, unsupervised, supervised, deep learning, and artificial intelligence. Her research activities have resulted in relevant publications in journals, magazines, and events with high editorial standards (peer review), including groups such as Nature, Elsevier, and IEEE. Since her masters degree, she has been investigating complex systems in partnership with Prof. Dr. Ted Lewis (Naval Postgraduate School, California, USA). She also has teaching experience in higher education at both UNESP and UNICAMP, in subjects such as Analytical Geometry, Linear Algebra, Object-Oriented Programming, Research Methodology, Statistics, Biostatistics, Calculus I, Mathematics I, and Applications of Computing in various fields of knowledge.
