Julia Sapienza Passos

PhD in Sciences (Area of Concentration: Physiology and Pharmacology) from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB/USP). Postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Nanopharmaceuticals and Delivery Systems, with the project "Development and evaluation of topical nanoscaffolds enriched with lipid nanoparticles for the co-delivery of an H2S donor and an anti-inflammatory peptide and treatment of inflammatory skin conditions." PhD in Sciences (Area of #8203;#8203;Concentration: Physiology and Pharmacology) from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB/USP). During her doctoral studies, she completed a PhD sandwich period in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Davis (BME/UC Davis) and the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). She graduated in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (FCF/USP). She completed a Scientific Initiation project, funded by the CNPq agency, with the project entitled "Nanocarriers for increasing the cutaneous bioavailability of itraconazole for the local treatment of fungal infections."
