Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP) and currently a direct-track PhD fellow funded by FAPESP at the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology and Pathogenic Bioagents. His research focuses on the KLK5/KLK14 proteolytic pathway and its interaction with the Hippo signaling pathway in head and neck carcinomas, using both in vitro and murine models. He works in the Laboratory of Proteases and Cancer Biology, with experience in CRISPR-Cas9, animal models, and biomolecular techniques applied to experimental oncology. Former FAPESP and PUB-USP undergraduate fellow, with research projects on the expression of serine proteases in oral premalignant lesions. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
