Holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Western Santa Catarina (UNOESC) (2008) and a degree in Biology from Centro Universitário Claretiano (2019). Completed a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the Regional University of Blumenau Foundation (FURB) (2012). Holds a PhD in Biology: Diversity and Wildlife Management from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS) (2017), with an internship period at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, from May to July 2017. Specialist in Natural Resources Management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC-PR) (2010) and in Higher Education Teaching from the National Service for Commercial Learning (SENAC) (2017). Completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of São Paulo (USP), Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ) campus, from June 2021 to July 2024, with an internship period at the Argentine Institute of Nivology, Glaciology and Environmental Sciences (IANIGLA), National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET), in Mendoza, Argentina, from April to June 2024. Worked as a substitute professor at the Luzerna campus of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFC), teaching classes in technical high school and undergraduate programs, in the subjects of Biology and Conservation of Natural Resources, from 2019 to 2020. Completed an fellowship through the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) and PAGES (Past Global Changes) at IANIGLA/CONICET, Mendoza, Argentina, from April to June 2024. Her expertise covers the areas of Forest Ecology, Botany, Restoration of Degraded Areas, and planning of ecological trails. Currently, she conducts postdoctoral research at the Environmental Research Institute (IPA) of the state of São Paulo and is an academic collaborator in the Graduate Program in Forest Resources (ESALQ/USP). Her research involves the use of dendrochronology and wood anatomy to understand how climate variability and fire affect the growth of underground structures of woody plants in the Cerrado Biome and Atlantic Forest trees. The chronologies are constructed using a multiproxy approach, combining classic growth ring dating techniques with wood anatomy, X-ray densitometry, radiocarbon (14C), and stable oxygen isotope (18O) analyses.
