Pedro Plácido Teixeira

PhD candidate in Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism at the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo (IAU-USP), funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). Researcher at the Center for Interactive Living Studies - Nomads.usp, developing researches related to the use of audiovisual media in Urban Studies. Holds a Master of Science (MSc.) in Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism from the same institution, also funded by FAPESP. Holds a bachelor degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the School of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (EAUFMG), with a sandwich period at Anglia Ruskin University (Science Without Borders - CNPq), England, developing scientific initiation researches at the Tutorial Education Program (PET Architecture UFMG) and at the Geoprocessing Laboratory (LabGeo UFMG). Has academic experience in the field of Architecture and Urbanism with an emphasis on visual languages, cinema, urban studies, collective creative processes, and development of collaborative methodologies.
