Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (CiPharma) and a doctorate in Biological Sciences (NUPEB) from the Federal University of Ouro Preto. Postdoctoral studies at the Institut de Recherche en Santé-Nutrition, Métabolismes et Cancer (INSERM U1241, INRA 1341, Université de Rennes 1-France). Works in the area of nutrition and experimental medicine using biochemistry, molecular/cellular biology and imaging techniques in in vitro and in vivo models.
