Bachelor in Biological Sciences with an emphasis on Biodiversity Conservation from the Federal University of Viçosa, Rio Paranaíba Campus (2017). Master's (2020) and Ph.D. (2025) in Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of São Carlos. During the Ph.D., he completed two international research internships at the Universitätsklinikum of Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Germany) and the University of Canberra (Australia). He served as a student representative (2021-2025) for the PPGGEv/UFSCar program. Winner of the Horácio Schneider Award for the best work in Genetics and Animal Breeding by the Brazilian Society of Genetics (2024). His research focuses on the genetic mechanisms of biodiversity evolution, particularly the role of chromosomes and sex in this process.
