Graduated in Civil Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), where he received the CACISM Award for Best Student (2017/2). He was an undergraduate research fellow at the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (FAPERGS) in the Construction Materials Laboratory (LMCC) at UFSM from 2015 to 2016. He completed his Masters in Civil Engineering (Structures) at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) in 2020, under the supervision of Professor André Teófilo Beck, with a scholarship from the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). PhD in Civil Engineering (Structures) at USP supervised by Professor André Teófilo Beck, with a scholarship from the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP). During his PhD, he collaborated with researchers from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (Chile) and the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Chile), and completed a sandwich period at the Università Degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (UNINA), Italy, under the supervision of Professor Fulvio Parisi (2021). He has experience in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Numerical Methods, Reinforced Concrete Structures, Progressive Collapse, Structural Reliability, Structural Optimization, and Metamodeling.
