Postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition (ESALQ-USP), with a Ph.D. in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition from the same institution. Has experience with Technosols and mangrove soils, focusing on biogeochemistry, organic matter chemistry, and organo-mineral interactions. Completed a BEPE research internship at the Institut d'écologie et des sciences de l'environnement de Paris (iEES-Paris; Sorbonne Université).Recipient of the 2024 CAPES Thesis Award (Honorable Mention Agricultural Sciences I) and the USP Thesis Highlight Award (Agricultural Sciences) for the thesis titled Carbon sequestration and mechanisms of soil organic matter stabilization in Technosols constructed for mine reclamation.Currently dedicated to the study of soil organic matter, with expertise in various analytical techniques, including infrared and UV-Vis spectroscopy, stable isotopes, pyrolysis GC/MS, thermal analyses (TG/DSC and Rock-Eval), and chemical extractions to investigate organo-mineral interactions.
