Bachelor of Pharmacy-Biochemistry at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of São Paulo. During his undergraduate studies, he developed scientific work at the department of Pharmacology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo under the Dr. Leonardo Santana Novaes supervision and Dr. Carolina Demarchi Munhoz co-supervision. Current, Vitor Jliano is a Ph.D. student at the graduate program in pharmacology at the department of pharmacology at ICB-USP with the aim of investigating the delayed acute stress effects on neuroendocrine regulation and learning of emotional memories and the development of anxiety-like and depressive-like behavior at cellular and molecular level. Completed part of his Ph.D. at the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Texas AM University under the Dr.Stephen Maren supervision, in which used sophisticated techniques to investigate the regulation and integration of neural circuits related to fear memory.
