Graduated in electrical engineering from the University of Passo Fundo (2000) and MS in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2003). In 2006, received the IBM BEST STUDENT AWARD. Obtained doctor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2007 from Federal University of Santa Catarina. Conducted his postdoctoral studies at the State University of Campinas. In 2008, joined the Federal University of Technology - Paraná. Experienced in digital signal and image processing field.
